The aim of the magazine is to improve the practice of Western Herbal Medicine through community and sharing of knowledge, both traditional and research based.

How do I submit articles?

Email your submission to info@tiliamagazine.co.uk and it will be read by the panel of editors.

If your article/submission meets the Rules of submission 21.11.16, it will be considered for publication. The editorial team may contact you regarding any changes that may need to be made before publication.

Please reference where appropriate.

The following are sections within the magazine but you are not limited to these:
• Letters to the editors
• New projects – are you involved in a new project that you think other herbalists would be interested to hear about?
• Research – have you found a particular research study interesting?
• Traditional knowledge
• Features
• Case studies (download Case history template v2) – (Permission must be sought from any patient case notes used.)
• Pharmacy, medicine making and recipes
• Herbal history
• Book reviews
• Course reviews
• Courses for herbalists (please let us know if you know of a course for herbalists that you would like to be added to our list)
You are also welcome to submit any of the following:
• Poetry
• Artwork
• Photos (that you have taken)
The four quarterly editions of the magazine are published as follows:
Spring – 21st March (Deadline 1st March)
Summer – 21st June (Deadline 1st June)
Autumn – 21st September (1st September)
Winter – 21st December (1st December)
